19pcs graded NGC PF70 & 1pc graded NGC PF69
I'm very pleased to have achieved 19pieces perfect grade PF70 except for 1piece PF69. You should not take it for granted that all Malaysian proof coins will "automatically" achieve highest grade, you're recommended to screen through all coins before send them for grading. It is not easy to achieve PF70 as a slightest imperfection will down grade the marks.
Sending and receiving coins to and from NGC are very expensive due to the weight of the coins sending to the United States and doubled the weight once it was slabbed by NGC while returning back to you. Fedex cost from Penang to US is RM320.00 and the return from US to Penang RM600.00. Once the package arrived at Penang airport there are Customs Duties and Sales Tax total 17% of the invoice value i need to pay before the package can be cleared out and release from the airport customs department. On top of that there are insurance for the coins to be paid as too.
So all of these are unforseen charges need to be incorporated as cost into the individual coins and that was the reason for dealers to sell at high price once it was graded. Matter of fact the dealers does not earn so much as what you might think but because of the high cost incurred.
