In the span of just four years from 1981 to 1984 our former governor Tan Sri Dato Abdul Aziz Bin Haji Taha served as Bank Negara Governor with two different series types of bank notes introduced during his reign and it was consider rare and much sought after by collectors.
1981 $5 Aziz Taha 4th series B/19 1st prefix. One of the important "Key Date" for Malaysian banknotes series.
Most of these banknotes are toned or foxed with yellowish stain especially the $5 banknotes. It is extremely difficult to have achieved grade PMG66 EPQ.
