This was the first polymer banknotes of China and are very popular and fond among the chinese because of the Dragon symbol that represents the chinese emperors. The chinese believes they are the children of dragons and they are born leaders and are gifted with power and luck.
Begining of last three years ago in 2011 the price of this banknote hit the peak at all time high of MYR1800.00 each (ungraded) for "J" series and MYR3000.00 each (ungraded) for the "I" series (replacement note). Thereafter the price has soften and consolidated between MYR700.00 - MYR1000.00 per piece for the "J" series and MYR1200.00 - MYR1500.00 for the replacement note "I" series respectively.
Currently the consolidation phase is over and the price has stated to slowly move upwards with the most recent sales recorded at USD550.00 for an ungraded note of "J" series and follow by USD650.00 for PMG 66EPQ. Unfortunately i don't have any recent record for the "I" series.
Happy Reading.
Andrew
